Many thanks to your family for sharing your mother all these years. She made my childhood bearable-I don't know how I would have survived it w/o The Shirley Temple Theatre they used to show on KRON here in SF. You must miss here so much...best wishes to the whole family!

My Childhood is mostly Shirley Temple. My beloved mother would give me 5 cents or 3 cents to buy pictures from other collectors. All school projects were Shirley themed! My teachers called me Shirley! My first Grandson born on April 23, 1988. Picture of Shirley and Chris....Priceless in my life!

I watched Shirley Temple all my life . As a child I put on my black patent leather shoes and tried to tap dance on my mothers hardwood floor. Of course Shirley had the talent and I didnt but I always had the dream.
May the Good Lord Bless her family, keep them and give peace during this time.

Rest in peace, dear Ms. Temple. She was a wonderful actor; I watched her movies growing up and introduced them to my own daughter. At night we would sing the song that goes, "when I grow up...in a year or two or three..." She loved it! What an exceptional and blessed life Shirley had. May God bless!

Shirley Temple was my mother's ideal of a girl-child: Good, Beautiful, and Musical. She was six when I was born, so I was quickly coiffed in Shirley Temple curls and taking singing and dancing lessons. She will live forever in the hearts of millions of little girls! RIP, Shirley Temple.

It was only this weekend when I finally watched a few of Shirley Temple's movies from the 1930s, and all I can say is: what an adorable little delight she was! A much needed ray of light to brighten many people's lives during the darkness of The Great Depression. She was a true star indeed!
