Rest in peace and love Shirley Temple. You were like a little doll in all those movies. Singing, dancing and acting at such a young age. How you remembered your lines, the words to all those songs and all the dance steps is truly amazing! You were a very special child. Thanks for giving so much joy.

During WA State Governor/Senator Dan Evans' first campaign, in 1964, Shirley joined him/his wife/committee members for dinner at a Seattle restaurant. I had the pleasure of sitting across the table from her. Soon afterward we received personal/hand-written thanks from her. An icon AND a lady.

My hearts aches on her passing. I recall back in 1989 at a Thai restaurant in Malibu we saw her and her husband. I whispered to my girl friend that I think that is Shirley Temple. We were kind of in awe. I could see that girlish look still in her eyes. Yet she is dancing again in the joy of heaven
