Shirley, I grew up watching you, and made it point that my 3 daughters would also know you and your wonderful stories. I also made sure that they knew all the wonderful things you did after acting. What a role model you have been. You will always be a part of our family, much love to you <3

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news that Shirley has passed. She is my inspiration. At the age of seven I was trying to mimic her dancing up and down the stairs with Mr Bojangles, only to be sternly reminded by Sister John that I should go to class. Shirley you live in my heart always!

My Mom and Dad were kids, too, during the Depression. After they grew up and us kiddoes came along, YES, we watched Shirley Temple. I so adored that happy little girl. - May God give her dear family peace and deep comfort at this time. She left behind a blessed legacy.
